Just under 48 hours to go until the 85th running of the Vineyard Race!!! Crews from 98 boats are busy making final preparations.

EVENT SCHEDULE

Thursday, August 29th
1500 - 2100: Vineyard Race Store open at Stamford Yacht Club
1700 - 2100: Skipper's gathering and bag pickup at SYC

Friday, August 30th
0700 - 1300: Skipper's bag pickup at SYC
0800 - 1100: Vineyard Race Store open
1200: First signal

Sunday, September 1st
1500 - 2000: Vineyard Race Store open (SYC dock)
1700 - 2300: Awards party at SYC


TRACKING:
Race tracking this year will be provided by KATTACK. Instructions on how to download the phone app are available on the Official Notice Board on Yachtscoring. However, we strongly recommend skippers purchase and register a SPOT or InReach device, which will greatly improve tracking effectiveness. A special offer for one of these devices is available in this newsletter.

If you are using a SPOT or InReach device, you must provide your tracking URL to the Vineyard Race Committee by 1200 on Thursday, August 29th at vineyardrace@stamfordyc.com
